New Albany Young Professionals
The New Albany Young Professionals (NAYP) have come together to connect with each other and make a positive contribution to the community. The NAYP mission includes building relationships, developing professionally, and being civically and philanthropically active. Typically, members are in their 20s or 30s.
The NAYP group has developed a steering committee made up of 5 representatives from area finance, marketing, social services, logistics and healthcare organizations. Committee chairs are all between the ages of 23 and 35 and are energetic and optimistic about what this group can achieve.
NAYP short term plans include building on the strength of recent social events to build membership and become more active, inclusive and visible in the New Albany community. Strategic goals include volunteer and learning opportunities for people to make connections and learn more about themselves and the community where they live and work.
The NAYP mission is to build relationships, develop professionally, become civically and philanthropically active, and contribute to the economic development and high quality living of the community.
Vision. New Albany Young Professionals is committed to providing young professionals with the tools necessary to expand their knowledge base. This will in turn help NAYP learn what key qualities are necessary to excel professionally as well as socially. NAYP is also dedicated to contributing to the community through civic efforts and to cultivate an environment that will attract and retain the next generation of business leaders.
