Mentorship Program

To nurture the development of the next generation of leaders in New Albany, the New Albany Chamber of Commerce created the Mentorship Program. This program runs typically May – November and has two primary components: three professional development sessions and the matching of mentees with mentors for a one-on-one mentoring relationship.

To successfully complete the program, Mentees are expected to attend all professional development sessions and to fully participate in the one-on-one mentoring relationship. The program requires a 15-20-hour commitment including professional development sessions and individual mentoring time.

Past Mentor and Mentee companies include Abercrombie & Fitch, Accel, Inc., Aetna, Berkshire Hathaway, Buckeye Interactive, CityScene Media Group, EMH&T, Exhibitpro, Huntington National Bank, Knowlton Development Corporation, Mount Carmel Health System, New Albany Community Foundation, New Albany Company, New Albany Country Club, New Albany Realty, PRISM Marketing, Smoot Construction Company, State Farm, UBS Financial Services, The OSU Wexner Medical Center’s Health & Fitness Center, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and Wesley Woods at New Albany.
