Leadership New Albany is a leadership development program offered by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce to existing and emerging leaders and is designed to expose class members to all aspects of the New Albany, Ohio community. The 9-month program (January-September) takes participants on a journey to increase knowledge of New Albany’s past and present; and gain a better understanding of the New Albany business, economic, civic and government landscape. Local leaders share business and leadership insights through presentations, interactive sessions, panel discussions and exclusive behind-the-scenes tours.
Topics covered include community master planning, local government, health, recreation, business, economic development and entrepreneurship. Along with overall leadership development, participants will learn about the history, arts, culture and philanthropy in New Albany. The program culminates with graduates being recognized at the New Albany Community Update Luncheon in September. The ideal participant is a mid- to high-level leader with significant career and community achievements.
